The GCC syllabus follows a structured credit assessment framework (purpose, payback, risk, and structure) covering the end-to-end credit analysis process. Learners progress from core principles to practical application across corporate, bank, and private credit.
Purpose

The Exams
The GCC includes two three-hour, multiple-choice exams. Candidates must pass both levels to earn the Global Credit Certificate and become eligible to use the MICP professional designation. Practice questions and mock exams are included with every study option.
Level 1 Exam
Tests knowledge and understanding of core credit analysis principles- 80 multiple-choice questions

Level 2 Exam
- Tests the practical application of knowledge, analytical skills, and judgment relating to credit decision-making

Candidates who pass both exams earn the Global Credit Certificate and become eligible to use the MICP professional designation (Member of the Global Institute of Credit Professionals). GCC alumni also receive one year of premium GICP membership, with access to continued professional development, learning resources, events, and industry insights.
